T-shirts are the most comfortable form of clothing worn by men, women and children. #1. Screen Printing:This is a popular technique of T-shirt printing in which ink or dye is spread upon the designed template or stencil. The stencil or the screen is placed over the fabric and ink is spread on it so that designs are inscribed on the fabric underneath. Then it is left to dry. It has following pros and cons.
1. Pros: It is quite an ideal option for high quality T shirt printing. It provides high quality finish, it is durable, and it is cost effective as well. Moreover, it is scalable as templates can be used several times.
2.Cons: This form of printing is not suitable for very complex designs that include several colour tones. Colour accuracy is the biggest issue in this case.
#2. Direct to Garment Printing: It is somewhat similar to printing from an inkjet printer. In other words, the designs are directly printed over the garments. Initially it had some performance issues, but several modifications have been made so far to enhance its functioning.
1. Pros: This is the customised form of printing which can print any preferable designs high level of colour and design accuracy. It is also easy to obtain high quality detail on the designs.
2. Cons: It is an uneconomical technique of T shirt printing, especially while handling a bulk order. Apart from this, quality of print is also not as good as the screen prints.

#3. Vinyl Cut Printing: Also known as CAD, vinyl cut printing requires highly equipped machines. Heat is applied on so that the design sticks to the garment easily. It is quite simple and is highly used for printing of sport T shirts with customized names and numbers imprinted.
1. Pros: It is quite durable, as good quality prints do not fade or crack. One can get several options with respect to colour, type and print of the vinyl.
2. Cons: One major point of limitation in this technique is that if the design becomes heavy, the garment becomes heavier. Apart from that, the quality of print is also not as soft as that of the screen prints.
#4. Transfer Printing: The designs in this case are available in tattoo form that is directly pasted on the T shirts. This form of T shirt printing is somewhat similar to the contemporary tattoo pasting.
1. Pros: It is economical and can be used to execute better designs. The entire process involves pasting a sticker or paper piece on the fabric and applying heat on it.
2. Cons: This process is limited to some fabric and is quite problematic in wool fabric. This is quite time taking process as it is generally a manual process.
